Intended for students and parents, events include seminars, one-on-one study advice and college application tips, trade fair booths/stands, parent lectures and more. Specific events and corresponding times are listed online.
You can find a listing of upcoming info events held by universities in Saxony (Sachsen), Germany. Events range from on-campus experiences, university fairs, online information programs and more.

Kulturweit.de is where young adults can sign up for the German UNESCO commission's international voluntary service program.
What does the program entail?
In the program, students volunteer at cultural and educational institutions in countries of the Global South, Eastern Europe, and the CIS while being supported by the German Federal Foreign Office. Some goals of the program include "personal development", "increasing interest of young adults in civic involvement" and "contribution to a peaceful coexistence of people and societies worldwide".
What are the requirements for joining?
- You must be a young adult
(Specifically18 - 26 years of age)
- Your primary place of residence must be Germany
- You must have a valid passport
- You must be proficient in German
(Level C1 or Native Speaker)
- Good knowledge of English language
and some knowledge of language of host country
- Good enough physical health for travel
Application Process and Deadlines:
The applications must be submitted 10-12 months before the planned departure.
This can be done through their online portal.
For departure in March of the following year, applications must be submitted by May.
For departure in September of the following year, applications must be submitted by December.
